The 100 Sites program is a long-term Chicago Wilderness research project that encompasses multiple institutions and participants researching the outcomes of management techniques used to combat invasive species and restore natural lands. Each site (prairie remnants, prairie restorations, and woodlands) consists of a 1-hectare plot where researchers survey the flora, fauna, and abiotic factors that will be used to help answer some of today's biggest questions in ecological restoration.
