REDIS is a network of cities that is focused on how municipalities can re-shape districts into science quarters.

The REDIS Final Conference took place in the Lead Partner city Magdeburg on 12th and 14th April 2011. A number of leading experts and policy makers given speeches to reflect on the theme. There was also a look at the global dimension of the topic, as Dr. Kwon Lee referred to the development of Songdo international city in South Corea.
