The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) is a part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH)—the nation’s medical research agency. Established in 2012, NCATS is transforming the translational science process by developing innovations to reduce, remove or bypass scientific or organizational barriers to improve health.
