A new 622-bed, 13-storey, 70,000m2 general / acute hospital - will house A&E, Radiology, 10 Operating Theatres and a full range of in-patient facilities, but will also include extensive out-patient facilities and specialist clinics consistent with the move towards ambulatory (day procedure) rather than in-patient healthcare services.
