Hey there Flickr and ALIve Photography followers,

So I'm Ali Shupe, the wannabe-photo-pro. I'm a senior at Liberty High School, so I pour most of my life into my art classes to express myself with what I love the most, and that's photography.

I used to intern at Klatte Photography, which gave me some foundations for the photos I take today. I also have to credit my art teacher, Mr. G, for challenging the way I interpret life through my camera lens.

I'm a big fan of surreal and candid photography, basically as opposite as it gets. I love creating something impossible to the mind, or recreating some kind of fantasy we all have had and can relate to. But I equally strive for capturing that natural moment when the sparkle gets put in to someone's eye with out any direction to do so. I love the connection between people, and the unique person there is to find in every model. I just can't decide between real-life and fantasy sometimes, but with a camera attached to the head, who has to chose?
