Nature and landscape photography is a bit like a treasure hunt. I never know when I will find a great subject, or magical lighting. Another wonderful scene is always waiting to be discovered.

I love oaks, and the closest natural areas to my home are in the blue oak woodlands of the California foothills. You'll be seeing blue oaks in many of my photos.
