I am a semi-retired full-time photojournalist with over 35 years of chasing images under my belt. I never thought about giving it a name, but “mindfulness” has always been my compass. Essentially, I try to find anything and everything that I’m not looking for. No longer being restricted to assignments and specified shoots, It’s a whole New World. And despite the nano-percentage it represents, working with Hallett Oak Gallery in Hallettsville, Texas, a random network of independent showcases, the occasional magazine and, of course sharing on Flickr, I take a great deal of joy in knowing that the moments I have managed to capture will remain frozen long after I am gone.
