First and foremost I am not a “Photographer.” I take photos, I enjoy doing so. I take pictures of things I find interesting for my own enjoyment. If you find them interesting that’s a good thing. If you don’t, well variety of interest is what makes the world go round.

My current objects of interest are old buildings and family.

I use the following three cameras:

iPhone 4 with built in HDR

Nikon CoolPix S-51

Kodak EasyShare z981 Digital

So, as you can see I have no heavy-duty equipment. Although the z981 has pretty much everything the “big boys” provide except a lens and CCD equal to say a Nikon D-700. However, it gets the job done.

My primary mission at the moment is learning to use the z981 (it’s a very recent acquisition). It is very tempting to put it on Auto and shoot but that sort of defeats the purpose don’t ya think ;^{).
