Brendan Kelly is a 23-year old conservationist, photographer and avid birder from Paradise, Newfoundland. After obtaining his undergraduate degree in Wildlife Conservation at the University of Prince Edward Island Brendan began working with Island Nature Trust to conserve forest birds on PEI.
In the past, Brendan has received numerous awards for his conservation work in Newfoundland & Labrador and Prince Edward Island. These awards include Newfoundland Environmental Award, PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation Volunteer of The Year, Newalta Wetland Hero, Ducks Unlimited Canada Regional Rookie of The Year.
Brendan’s work has been published by Ducks Unlimited Canada, Parks Canada, The Government of Newfoundland & Labrador and Canadian Geographic among others.
