Have been an amateur photographer for 30+ years, starting with a photography class in high school and using an Olympus OM-1. Moved to one of the first Minolta Autofocus and then quickly joined the digital revolution, buying a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ10 (4Mp, with an amazing 12X Leica optical zoom!). Photography has always been linked to travel for me, as a way to remember. Lightness and portability, a must. I travel a lot for work and I couldn't carry my Lumix in the computer bag, so I bought a Canon Ixus 70 (tiny, but great colors) and later a Canon S90 (rediscovering my previous experiences with f numbers, ISO etc...). This was the camera which made me feeling again that I wanted to give it a serious try to take some good pictures and have fun. The S90 is always in my bag, wherever I go. Finally I bought an Olympus OM-D EM-5 and everything came full circle... back to the future. I have never had so much fun taking pictures as I am having now with the OM-D... I now have the 12-50mm, the 40-150mm, the fantastic 45mm f1.8, the super 12mm f2 and now also the 75mm f1.8. Still a basic amateur, still learning (after so many years!), but having a lot of fun and eager to receive your comments, your suggestions and your friendship.

Not going to say much, but this man takes better pictures than a lot of professionals whose work I've seen. It's not just that he travels the world to see its interesting places. He looks beyond the ordinary and often captures unusual subjects and angles------and generally in stunning color! This is the first time I've been moved to write a testimonial, but in this case I feel it's well deserved.
