About my photography: What I like about photography is that it encourages me to look critically at my surroundings, in terms of society, visual aesthetics and history. In this way I gain more from my walks, my visits, my holidays and my photography so that I am enriched as a result. I am no expert photographer - I have a lot to learn about the technicalities of photography. For me, each photograph represents an experience, a memory, a sensation, a smell, a sound, an emotion, and also a source of learning.
