Hello, and welcome to TRMH photostream.

At 50 something,,,, I have been taking transport photos since the late 1960s although the progression to digital in 2003 has seen a massive increase in quantity taken.

All the transport photos, bar a few ebay purchases with copyright, are my own work, I do not hide behind the "Unknown Copyright" or "Rally purchased shot copyright unknown" or "If the original photographer makes himself known to me, I will either credit the photo or remove it" excuses that the brigade of photograph thieves seems to think makes posting other peoples photos acceptable and justifiable.

It had been my intention to digitally scan all my slides and negatives and along with the digital images print them up and make available to all at rallies and double as a little extra income to supplement the pension. But that is not going to happen now, thanks to the people who think that it is their right to buy photos at a rally and then immediately post them on Flickr, thus destroying any potential value to the rightful owner. So a small percentage I will post myself. The rest will never be seen, thanks to the glory seekers.

It is a condition of Flickr membership that you only post your own work. Its in Community Guidelines.

Most regrettably, I have taken to "watermarking" my postings, thanks to two very unfortunate incidents when some of my photos were posted on this site (the person involved actually pulled ME up after I coincidentally posted one of my own shots which HE had already posted) and another site with complete disregard to ownership and copyright. Sorry to say, but any such cases will be pursued for infringement of intellectual rights and the offenders will be named.

So if YOU do not wished to be blamed for spoiling the publication of photographs for all to enjoy, please respect MY copyright.

I hasten to add that ANY unauthorised use, copying or posting elsewhere is an infringement of my intellectual rights and any such cases will be pursued to the value of £1000 per instance. You have been warned.

I do hope the watermarks do not spoil your enjoyment.
