A former professional photographer who left photography for decades to be a dad. When I developed a renewed interest once the kids were grown and gone, everything was different. I went from 120 roll film in the '80s to a new medium. The basics of photography remain, and I suspect they always will. So I'm setting out to master the many things that digital brings to the table. I have always been a photographer of people, and I remain so. My influences include Leon Kennamer, Dean Collins, Frank Cricchio, Monte Zucker, Mario Casilli, and others, all famous for one or more facets of people photography. I was blessed to be a member and Director of the Professional Photographers of The Greater Bay Area, one of the largest affiliates of PP of A at the time. I will always be grateful for that time, and the mountains of things I learned there, home of some of the finest photographers anywhere on the planet.
