My name is Ed Moran and I live in Chicago, IL. I have been taking pictures of trains for over 30 years. People ask me why? I tell them it is like fishing. It is my form of relaxation, to get out of the big city, to see nature, small towns, and to experience things I would not have the chance to do if I did not have such a hobby. Because of this, I do not limit my pictures to just railroads. I try to photograph the unique aspects of the areas I visit. By doing so, it adds more to the story.
