Update June 2024

I am now 2 and a half years into my transition, on HRT and happy with progress. I am still working part time as a cleaner and enjoy the opportunities to serve others and to clean for them, either home, Office or any other commercial premises. I am only interested in cleaning. I will work for minimum wage or other negotiated payment.

Update December 2020

With Covid in full swing working as a maid is not only more important now so as to keep everything clean, but it is also a little harder as we all have to stay home. Whilst I still embrace my new found love of the veil at the moment it is taking a bit of a back seat to wearing a mask for safety. It is odd how seeing someone with one nowadays is common place and you stand out more if you are not wearing one. I was ahead of the time as I have worn one for years when cleaning so as to avoid breathing in nasty fumes or the dust and dirty (and it helps protect my identity).

With the opportunities to get out and about much reduced I will be publishing older photos from when life was easier and there were greater opportunities to work in hotels and other locations. Let's hope that 2021 will be a better year for everyone.

Update June 2020

I am learning to embrace becoming a Muslimah and the life of a veiled maid servant, my muslimah name is Sagheera, meaning submissive yielding woman and I will be looking to become the maid servant of an understanding superior and to serve them as their domestic servant Khadimat Saghira.

I will continue to post photos not only of my new life but also of my previous role as Carole the cleaner.
