I have known Paul for many, many, years. We started our relationship by working together and later, became very good friends. Paul is a very professional photograher and has also become highly skilled in photo manipulation. His work is always of a very high standard and he is also President of the Colour Circles Postal Photographic Groups. Paul is a founder of Circle2000 a Digital Photographic Group, also part of Colour Circles. With a sharp wit and always ready with a cutting comment, I look forward to Paul's 'crits' on my images. One final thing to say...."Thank's for all the Fish?"

Paul (Pueblo) and I go way, way back through sporting ignominy in the shape of the hallowed sport of squash, (who do it against the wall, according to the bumper stickers) to working together in the rather unique and bizarre institution that is Law Enforcement UK plc or whatever corporate identity they are attempting to align themselves with this week. Our twin thrusts of withering, sardonic (but constructive, it must be said) black humour proved too much for many a 'different', inward looking intellect and we found ourselves oft shunned and misunderstood, especially Paul, whose inner self was too strong to shove under the surface for appearances sake yet again. (Hurrah!) Lets just say he was deeply appreciated by the thinking, and human, members of our profession! His phenomenal skill at forensic photography I have witnessed first hand in many cases, and, if anything, his constant strive for technical perfection baffled and frustrated some of our colleagues. ("But Paul - it looks dark in this photograph" - "That's because it b****y was!") but the end results were always beyond reproach, with very little for the bewigged black gowned types to pick at in court. Suffice to say, one of said learned gents, desperate to reduce the impact of Paul's work to me as a witness said "Officer - do you not agree things generally look further away in photographs?" (cue straight face) So now you know what you're paying your taxes for. Reassuring isn't it? Look forward to seeing more of Paul's work - I do - he looks at things sideways. Oh, and occasionally upside down. Believe me. This is a good thing. More of us should do it, more of the time.
