Professional and amateur natural historian. I'm interested in insects, flowers, trees, habitat ecology and nature conservation generally. I record, photograph and help conserve biodiversity. I also occasionally illustrate wildlife, when I have the time, see: www.stevenfalk.co.uk
I hope this Flickr site will help you to enjoy and record all sorts of wildlife. Use it in conjunction with established ID keys, and if you have smart phone and decent signal (!), use it like an app in the field, side-by-side with the real thing!
To make the most of this site:
1. Explore using the Collections view by clicking the scroll-down option at the far right of the lower black toolbar (the three white dots). Click on 'COLLECTIONS' and then explore the taxonomically-arranged folders and species 'albums'. Keep an eye on my collections as they are regularly updated and added to.
2. Once in a species album, click on the header or speech bubble to see a full species account with latest information and useful hyperlinks.
3. Further notes can be found by clicking on the individual photos.
