I'm just an amateur photographer and want to capture the many interesting things that catch my eye in the world around me. I also am very interested in developing my technical skills as a photographer, so many of the photos I post are also me trying out a new technique or skill I've learned. I think being a great photographer is mostly about having a keen eye for detail and being good at observing the world around you, capturing little moments others might miss. Having good equipment is important, but what is more important is being able to utilize the equipment you have available to its best potential. That is, know how to use what you have to get the results you want. Photography is a labor of love, and like just about every serious hobby, can get expensive. What I hope is that my photos will bring a little moment of enjoyment to your day, or inspire you, because each image took time and planning to create.
