I am a Modelmaker by trade, mainly in Petrochem and Architectural, Going greyer and or balder by the minuite trying to make enough money to live on in old age ( If I ever get there) Always loved transport, the bigger the better, all types, love the period from the 50's - 70's when we as a nation were generally good at things and made alot of fantastic products in the transportation world, which now seem just a distant memory. My intrest in cranes comes from an early age when I use to see Sparrows cranes as a toddler, My reason for being on flickr was purely to share the Walter Woolfenden archive that has been left to me and see if there was enough intrest to maybe do a book. This archive is far to important to be stuck in boxes, it needed to be seen, Flickr has been awesome in achieving that goal
