This flickr account is for members of the LeBourgeois family. It's a way for us to become better acquainted with each other before we all meet in New Orleans for our festive reunion in New Orleans at the end of May.

The buddy icon I chose is a photograph I took of the Mississippi River in St. James Parish, Louisiana. My uncle Brian LeBourgeois and I took a drive to St. James Parish in May 2006 to see if we could locate where Belmont plantation once stood. We think we came pretty close when we found Belmont Road and Belmont Lumber. Because the river and St. James Parish played a significant role in the LeBourgeois family history, I thought I'd use one of my photos from that sojourn.
