I was born in Pietermaritzburg, the capital city of Natal, in South Africa, and also lived in Ixopo, Umzinto and Greytown, in Natal. I now live in Edmonton, the capital city of Alberta, Canada. During mid 1964 to July 1965 I lived in Port Elizabeth,Cape Province, South Africa. From July 1965 to July 1967 I lived in Flint, Michigan, USA, returning to Port Elizabeth. In 1969 I moved to Cape Town, returning to the USA in 1970, when I lived in Atlanta, Georgia for about two months, then in Jackson, Mississippi for about ten months. After returning to South Africa in 1971, I lived in Bulawayo, Southern Rhodesia for about two months, then in Cape Town until April 1978, when I emigrated to Canada. I have travelled through almost the whole of the North American continent, from the Mexican border to the Arctic Ocean, which is something I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would do. I have been so lucky, also travelling in England, visiting Rome and Athens, cruising from Miami to Nassau in the Bahamas, and visiting Rio de Janerio in Brazil, so I have done some travelling in four continents.
