Welcome to my Flickr page. Born in a small town near Rotterdam in the year of the moon landings, I married and moved to the UK in 1995. I'm an ex-graphic designer who moved into academic publishing some ten years ago. The day job is satisfying but I really miss being a creative artist. I've recently discovered the joys of writing flash fiction and drawing zentangles, fun art forms that can easily be squeezed into my busy working week. Well, more easily than that novel and play I still want to write and those complicated colour pencil paintings I keep dreaming about creating.
