I'm a retired Primary school teacher with a life long interest in wildlife. I've also been interested in photographing wildlife since a boy and have progressed from a box brownie up to a Canon Mirrorless semi pro system. My wife and myself have been fortunate enough to have had over a dozen trips to African countries ranging from Ethiopia down to South Africa. We've also photographed wildlife in California, India, Brazil, Sri Lanka, China and several European countries. I tend to concentrate on action shots if possible and use the results on calendars and canvases for our home. I have given photos to professional wildlife artists who use them for reference and have, occasionally, been lucky enough to have shots printed in mags, papers and reference books.

I love seeing animal behaviour and have tried to aid conservation groups where possible. I feel very privileged to have seen so much wildlife in my life and to have met so many lovely people with a passion for wildlife as great as my own.
