I am a mother of three children and nine grandchildren. I have been quilting for 14 years. I live in Northamptonshire, England. Have lived here 11 years. I am 27 with 36 years experience. a friend! bought me a plaque which said &quote ; Boring women have tidy houses!! what else can I say. I think she might be right!! the reason for this is I would rather sew than housework. although I have to sometimes. I am an easy going person and love to see other peoples creations although I am not very artistic myself, so tend to use patterns.I love bright fabrics Moda Sunkissed . I seem to go for bright fresh clean colours at the moment .Although the bqs I just finished has a black background!!

If you are reading this because you are my secret partner, take heart. I am so happy that someone wants to make something for me and I am so easily pleased. I dont insist on perfection ,just something that you have enjoyed making. That way I will feel the joy and love in the item whether it be a king size quilt or a pin cushion.

I like useful things that dont take up too much room so stackable boxes are good . can always do with a new pincushion(think I'll have to start a collection!!)
