I am from England. My wife Janina introduced me to the wonders of nature as we started regular countryside walks. Video was my hobby but found photographing more suitable for Wildlife and all things Nature.
We loved our wildlife holidays, and tried to visit at least one sometimes two new countries each year. We did achieve 85 holidays visiting 64 countries and islands. The most enjoyable was a 4 week backpacking trip around Southeast Asia (Thailand and Cambodia). It was so good we went 2 years later for 6 weeks, but also included Vietnam.
I was diagnosed with the early signs of Alzheimer's in July 2022. Two days later Janina was diagnosed with MND. She sadly passed away in August 2023.
A big "thank you" to all my contacts and other members who have visited my photo stream since i became a member in 2011. I have now passed 9.5 million views, Febuary 2025.
