My profile is not exciting, but my life has been very interesting. Born in Uk but raised in Western Australia (arguably one of the most beautiful places on earth). Not a great achiever at school. Married way too young (20) but had three wonderful sons. Grew apart from my husband and raised my boys alone, until they were teenagers.

Until being asked out on a date by my sons football (aussie rules) coach and finding my soul mate. Happily married 8 years now to a wonderful, funny man and now have five sons (two step sons, all over 20).

At the ripe old age of 43 decided to do my nursing degree and after 3 very hard years graduated (profile photo) one of the proudest days of my life. During this degree I had an unexpected pregnancy (tubal) and then hysterectomy which led to major bowel surgery (almost died) but a miracle and brilliant Dr saved my life.

During this reflecting on my life I decided to start to follow my passion and try to learn more about art. I have been trying to improve my skills (self taught and you tube ha ha). This last year has been very difficult my husband had a stroke in October. Then I ended up back in hospital to have another life saving bowel surgery (Dec). Then to add to this my husband needed to have a triple by-pass (Feb).

One of the things that i found to help me to cope was to draw, paint and use art as a mental refresher.

So I now celebrate life everyday as a wife, mother, nurse and budding artist........
