Retired since the beginning of January 2012 and finally have time for my hobbies.

My special preference is animal and landscape photography, but also other situations that I like.

The animal photos I show were not taken in zoos or animal parks, but always in the wild!

I almost always prefer natural light to reflect the mood as I photographed it or as I feel it.

I always shoot in RAW (raw data format), as this preserves all the details captured by the image sensor and leaves enough room for effective post-processing.

I really enjoy post-processing my digital images, but it is not applied to every image.

Hobbyfotograf aus Leidenschaft

Seit Anfang Januar 2012 im Ruhestand und endlich Zeit für meine Hobbys.

Meine besondere Vorliebe gilt der Tier- und Landschaftsfotografie, aber auch anderen Situationen, die mir gefallen.

Die Tierfotos, die ich zeige, sind nicht in Zoos oder Tierparks entstanden, sondern immer in freier Wildbahn!

Ich bevorzuge fast immer natürliches Licht, um die Stimmung so wiederzugeben, wie ich sie fotografiert habe oder wie ich sie empfinde.

Ich fotografiere grundsätzlich im RAW (Rohdatenformat), da so alle vom Bildsensor erfassten Details erhalten bleiben und genügend Spielraum für eine effektive Nachbearbeitung bleibt.

Die Nachbearbeitung meiner digitalen Bilder macht mir sehr viel Spaß, wird aber nicht bei jedem Bild angewendet.
