I believe I inherited an interest in photography from my father. I started out with a Kodak box camera that I only vaguely remember and graduated to a Fujica 35-SE 35 mm viewfinder while in high school. The next time I could afford to upgrade was after I graduated from university and in 1971 I purchased a Nikkormat FTN to which I added 28 mm and 200 mm Nikkor lenses. I still have the camera and lenses; they mean more to me than any cash they might generate. Over the years, I've had more 35 mm SLRs, including one of the first auto focus Minoltas and a Canon EOS Rebel. I started out in digital with a Canon Digital Elf S-100 (2 mp and 2X zoom) followed by a few early Canon digital Rebels. My cameras now include a Canon 6D, a Canon Rebel XSi, a Sony A6000 and a Panasonic Lumix ZS60.

The photos I post here are a mix of everything from vacation shots, car club events and air shows to family photos and even attempts at the art of photography. Some are poor technically but I like them anyway for various reasons.
