And now: Bottom line, at the top....

UNREPENTANT CROSS DRESSER- HANDLE WITH CARE

Based on the positive response to my profile posted on Ipernity, i thought i'd post it here as well. So, if anyone is actually reading this stuff....

I like to think of myself as a low-profile performance artist. i go out on evenings during the weekends and special occasions when my work schedule allows, and pretty much just enjoy the feminine aesthetic. Some people may take exception to the clothes that i wear and that's OK. I look just barely good enough to wear what i want, and thats all i need to be happy.

And now, some "Q and A" about Siobhan:

Q: How do you pronounce your name?

A: Obviously better than you do.

Q: How tall are you?

A: I'm approximately 247 Feet tall, without heels.

Q: How old are you?

A: You Idiot. Next question.

Q: Why do you wear vintage dresses?

A: Good Question, unlike that last winner you asked.

It's partly for reasons of my body shape. I'm very skinny and i've had good luck with pencil skirts, but when wearing separates its easy for my upper torso to appear too long. Dresses even out the proportions more effectively.

I got into wearing dresses by Bettie Page and Stop Staring by accident really. I bought one just on the off chance that it would work, and it led to another, and another, and another. In fact, i actually posted pics on the Bettie Page website. Clearly, they're not paying close attention. But i do love their dresses.

Why Vintage?

Mainly because a lot of men cry out for women to dress and appear more feminine, like they did in the 1950s and 1960s. Yes, its something of an idealized image but speaking from personal contacts, men really like the classic look from the days when women dressed like ladies, everybody smoked, toys were made of metal and had sharp edges, and cars didn't have safety belts. It was a simpler, less complicated time and men didn't feel as threatened by women as they do now.

Q: Are you Gay?

A: No.

Q: How do we know this?

A: I still need a woman's touch to pick out guy clothes, i've never seen "Cats", i've never bought anything from Abercrombie & Fitch, i don't subscribe to GQ, and i don't have a single Barbara Streisand album in my collection. In other words, all the classic indicators of gayness are missing.

Q: Do you go out with men, dressed as Siobhan?

A: Haven't done it yet. I'm sort of holding out for what i can get out of the deal, but that borders on prostitution so i'm being cautious.

Q: Do you like women?

A: Absolutely! They're my greatest source of inspiration! It is my hope that they like me too.

i could go on forever talking about myself, but i'll just leave it at that. I hope you like what you see.

Rules, Disclosures, and Truth- in- Advertising stuff

DON'T BE A DICKHEAD. If the first thing i see on your photostream is a shot of your penis, i'm gonna roll my eyes, and then move on. I can block you, but i know you will just change your name and come back and re add me again. I can't stop that but SHOWING ME PICTURES OF YOUR COCK IS NOT THE WAY TO GET MY ATTENTION. If you post one picture of your pride and joy and i don't like it, don't think for one minute that i will somehow be impressed with multiple pictures of it. This is not one of those things where you can make up for a shortfall in volume. I mean, For Fuck's Sake...

My images are for enjoyment by members of Flickr only. All other use of my images is strictly prohibited without my written consent. Violations will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. One person posted a photo of me on their blogspot page without even asking for a good photo, and i'm still pretty steamed about that.

In the interest of full disclosure, some of my photos are retouched, but i post enough raw imagery for comparison purposes. i want to look as pretty as the next girl, but i don't want to misrepresent myself, either.

BRIBES: i'm always searching for a nice pair of Fuck-Me pumps. If anyone can find the Jimmy Choo "Anouk" in size 42, or the Christian Louboutin "So Kate" in 41.5, please let me know, LOL

Oh- one last thing: All of my makeup is done by Victoria Sinclair of Over The Rainbow Transformations in Tigard, OR. I can take credit for the clothes and the body from the neck down, but without her artistic abilities, Siobhan would not exist.

Thanks for Shopping!

XOXO

Vixen is right, the 50's were better for both genders. Femininity has been lost but it is so nice to have someone like Vixen who tries to bring it back... :)
