The first time I found Flickr, I was first introduced to the world of icegrapefruit. Thereafter I kept coming back to witness what shot she had captured next and with each click I became more amazed at how talented she is and the simplicity with which she translates the ordinary moments in life into something extraordinary. It is not just her landscapes, nature or monument photos that will leave you breathless but her panache to capture exceptional candid shots of her living space and surroundings that truly sets her stream apart from the million others in here. Coupled to that she has the most amazing sense of humor that you can ever find and her kindness and generosity overflows not only in her comments but also in the story she is trying to express through her work and art. Sadly she doesn’t do much of self portraits, even though she is strikingly beautiful and will make a great subject for perfect shots! She is impossibly modest and through her photos/comments will come across as the most endearing person you shall ever know. (Which she truly is) Through her eyes I have been opened up to the beautiful land of Hungary, which definitely is now added to my places to tour! Her work has this refreshing simplicity to it, and somewhere leaves an in erasable footprint in your heart, making you realize the simple joys and value of life. An extremely inspiring person, a very humble human being, a truly beautiful soul, a kind and generous artist and a very warm, sincere, intelligent lady; icegrapefruit truly is a gift to Flickr and to me.
