Full disclosure- my wife Pamela takes most of the nature shots. We spent 3 1/2 months traveling North America in our Jayco Travel Trailer and visited lots of National and State Parks. This is one of the few happy moments I get to discover a great photographer, not just one person who, like me, takes photos and certainly not one of those pretentious ones that I too often find with high end equipments and subjects and quite vulgar results. Here we have a person that has the eye to catch the beauty and, thus the truth, of common subjects and brings them to our enjoyment. Her images make me feel humble, but also inspired. As many times I say, it's not in the tools, certainly, but only wonder what Lena could achieve with more professional equipment. However her connection with her camera, the opportunity of her to catch whatever she likes when she likes to do so, is of superb value so will not complain. I know I repeat myself, but it's easy to take nice pictures of beautiful subjects, and also having lot of resources and equipment, but the true photographer I admire is the one able to grasp and show beauty of those other much more humble subjects playing the the time the light is just right, when the dream can be fixed with the hue of the photons that hit the sensor.
