After borrowing my dad's old Nikomat FT one weekend, I caught the bug and started taking classes in school. Shooting everything from architecture, landscapes, macros, I learned all I could in the black and white world. But for some reason, my cameras have been collecting dust for the past 12 years. I guess I got caught up in the college life, relationships, and starting a career. After seeing some amazing pictures while on vacation in Hawaii, I knew I had to dust off my gear and get behind a lens again. A friend's art inspired me to step into the 21st century and move from film to digital. What a difference it is, too. I don't have to conserve film anymore with 8gb worth of pictures on one card. I still take a lot of time composing my shots, but the freedom of digital is amazing. I'm having to learn everything all over again! I'm looking forward to progress my hobby into something more and would love any feedback. Love it or hate it, I want it all, but if you hate it I want to know why so I can learn.
