Hi! I'm an amateur photographer who loves to travel. I go by the handle arturoviaggia on social media (Italian for "Arthur travels".) Unfortunately since the start of the covid pandemic I've been unable to travel like I used to, but am looking forward to picking it up again when I can. In the meantime, I'm happy to share my photos with you and to relive memories of some of my favorite trips. You'll see a lot of Italy and Greece here especially, but also some other places -- Sweden, Luxembourg, Turkey...

I am also a scholar of ancient Christianity with a background in Classics, so most of my photos are of ancient sites related to these cultures. Rome, Ravenna, Athens and Thessaloniki, among the most prominent.

If you are an educator and my pics would be helpful in your classes, I encourage you to share them with your students. I just ask that you give proper credit (though there is a watermark on my images so that should do!).
