Active since 2008, Toti was born in 1989 in Amsterdam, lives and studies painting in Italy at the Art Academy of Genoa.

Held some minor exhibitions in Genoa and Savona and won different local contemporary art awards (Satura Prize, Stanze della Memoria).

Developing conceptual art supported by skills in fine art and digital image making, as well as by various uses of his social skills.

His works are developed in different media, according to purpose of the project and the effect that is to be created.

Works until now cover a range from high quality paintings, conceptual objects and installations, mise-en-scènes in public or online spaces that require social skills, artistic albums, and even boardgames.

Most of the works focus on technical tour-de-forces of the used media or on playful, surreal and comical effects deriving from the idea that the artist always plays a role playing game, in which every accentuation of a character or fake identity is the result of the interaction between the public's expectations and the artist's skills, both technical, conceptual and social.
