Jack Dylan is a Toronto based illustrator best known for his distinctive poster art. Born in Stratford, Ontario, Dylan studied painting at Bealart before moving to Montreal to work as a graphic designer in the local music community. There he co-founded a studio and venue space and generated a reputation for the clever caricature and originality of his Gig Posters. Dylan’s illustrations frequently appear in publications such as The Globe and Mail, The Walrus, Toronto Life, as well as in print advertisements. He continues to create poster designs for artists and bands, as well his own series of fine art prints. His work is often inspired by traditional Art Nouveau and Art Deco design and typography.
