I'm an IT Manager, a physics graduate from Imperial College of Science and Technology in London, far too long ago.

I'm interested in science, photography. I've done some trekking in various parts of the world including Europe, Nepal, South and Central America and Africa including to the top of Kilimajaro.

In the past couple of years I seem to have taken rather a lot of shots of musicians in performance. Far too many probably. However, I've met some wonderful people that way and a few favourite subjects (like the stunning and adorable violinist, Anna Phoebe who everybody should know). I've never posed a model in my life, and I'm not sure I'd know how to start so I stick to photographing performances. Stage photography can present lots of problems with difficult lighting, but I've come to the conclusion that I rather like the technical challenges.

This is strictly an amateur interest, but I take it fairly seriously.
