For almost 20 years I have been taking photos of people's faces. I have shot in my local community NDG,my city (Montreal), Toronto, the USA, Cuba, Europe,South America and SE Asia.I was influenced by great photographers I admire that photograph people. To me, the most powerful photos were the ones where the subject looked directly into the lens of the camera. I have developed my own comfort and approach to ask a stranger to take their photo. I look for people whose face I find interesting and think would be a great photo. In these days of the internet I assure them who I am and what I will do with their photo. Originally I shot with my Nikon Camera. Today I shoot entirely with my phone. I love the immediate access I have now to find a subject and shoot. For me, each face has a unique story I hope to have captured.
