One of the greatest contribution of the Spaniards to the Philippines is our Catholic faith. We are so blessed that our country is considered as the only "Christian nation" in Southeast Asia and for that I am so proud to be a Filipino. I enjoy seeing religious images because I am inspired by them. I so happy that many young Filipinos are addicted to "Santo" including me. However, we should always remember that this is not a basis of being a "good Christian". The true essence of our faith is humility, kindness, respect and love for others.
