This testimonial is long overdue :) I remember finding this girl’s beautiful stream for the first time, almost a year ago. There was a black and white photo with really cool fluffy clouds coming out of a drawer. It was the first photo I ever saw of hers, and is still a favorite. Since then, Ell has improved so much!! She just gets better and better and more creative with each photograph, and I cannot wait to see what she takes next! This girl has really become an amazing photographer. Ell’s ideas and concepts are always unique. Her Jar Project is an example of that – what a great idea! Not only that, but she has inspired others to start their own Jar Projects as well. Ell is truly an inspiration. Seeing her name pop up into my contacts always brings a smile to my face! There are many things I adore about her photography, but one of my favorite things about Ell’s photos is the emotion in them. Capturing emotion is hard to do, and Ell, my dear, you do it brilliantly! Not to mention, those awesome double exposures she takes. I mean, they are just amazing. I am so proud to be able to call this talented and beautiful photographer one of my best friends. We started talking through Flickrmail one day, and literally have not stopped since. I can talk to her about anything and she’s always understanding (and insanely hilarious :D). Hmm, the lovely Ell doesn't have any testimonials? Well she deserves one, so here we go. (Please forgive my awkward [lack of] writing skills, I've never really mastered the art of testimonials :P) As a photographer: The main thing I love about Ells pictures is the variety. She's just not afraid to experiment! She has the cutest ideas. Each shot is totally unique, while still being completely Ell. She doesn't even realize she has a style, but I can always tell one of her pictures from the thumbnail. I love her editing techniques and her ability to think outside of the box! She's got so much potential. . .I hope she doesn't forget about us little people when she becomes a flickr celebrity ;) As a human being: Grab a dictionary and look up the word sweetness. There's this little picture of Ell there, smiling her gorgeous smile. She's always uplifting and has such a positive attitude about life. Every single comment she leaves me just makes me grin - it's like she always knows just what to say.
