5's are one of the many things I collect and obsess about. For many years I have been collecting 5's made of metal, wood, paper, plastic, etc. - if it has a 5 on it, I want it! I photograph them to place on this site, along with the fives I encounter in my travels.

So what's with my obsession with 5's ? I don't know........maybe it comes from being born on 5-5-1955 at 5am, weighing 5lbs-5ozs. We lived at #5 W. Fifth Street, where we shared the place with 5 cats, 5 dogs, and a 5 man mariachi band, who each year on May 5th sang Happy Birthday to me and wished each other a "Happy Cinco De Mayo"!
