Some of my favorite things: green; textures in nature; water; vibrant colors; sundrenched goodness; my son's hearty laugh; my daughter's creativity; field trips; dark chocolate; velvety red wine; craft IPAs; naps; pedicures; weathered wood; felted wool; buttery leather; wind rustling crunchy leaves; ocean spilling onto sand; the smell of sunshine and fresh-cut grass; fresh herbs; letterpress; cartwheels; soulful storytellers like Paul Simon, Ray Lamontagne, Lyle Lovett, Bonnie Raitt; Sting; yoga stretches; topography that varies from my own surroundings, a few feet above sea level on the eastern Atlantic. Beauty every day.

PS. I am not a Jenny, despite my Flickr name. In high school, there were 12 Jen/Jennifer/Ginnys that I hung out with on a regular basis. Hudson was my maiden name; Jennyhud became my moniker. Jen or Jennifer works for me.

2010 has been a great year full of new clients, new adventures and new equipment. I have much to be thankful for!

It would be cool to say my dad's gift of a Pentax K1000 got me going, but my shutterbug tendencies probably predated that -- might have been my Polaroid or disk camera ;-) I won't claim to be "self-taught," but I may one day say I've been "Flickr-taught!"
