I Have had a interest in Slippers, I was Born in the 50's and grew up in the 1960's, Everyone would wear Slippers , maybe due to cold weather and no central heating, and all Slippers were British Made, and Britain made the best Slippers in the world , there was slipper factories up and down the UK .

There was many types of Slippers Full fur collar Slippers Half cuff slippers, Mules , and plain traditional Slippers , most with flexible rubber soles.

This was a time of Corporal Punishment at School and at home , and the Slipper was used for Spanking quiet a lot, i remember too well.

I have tried to find photos of all types of British made slippers 1950 to 1970's, and Photos of that time people wearing Slippers, Please copy and share any photo and make a comment or leave a testimonial at the bottom of page.
