I am interested in all sorts of photography, but I am fascinated by the portrait. Portraits survive age and misfortunes to remind us of who we have been and hopefully preserve a moment we were happy with ourselves.

I think good pictures are like bookmarks that transport us back to good times and show people a sometimes hidden part of our character.

Intimacy and the spark of life are the real goals. It might include nudity but it doesn't have to. Nude is a costume some people wear to work every day.

Whatever this means to you is the right answer. It could be a morning coffee right out of bed before the world. It could be anything personal that really places you in the moment, communicates who you are or something important.
