I've been working as a potter, in some capacity or other since I graduated from The Philadelphia College Of Art (during the Hoover administration). I took photography at the time and loved it, but didn't want life in the dark room. Oh, how things have changed.

After six months of looking at and commenting on other people's photographs, I took the very humbling step of posting my own. Now, I am possessed .. camera goes everywhere.

What I never expected, was the friendship and comradere that I've found here. I feel very lucky.

Comments, critisism and suggestions are always welcome. I've already learned so much from my friends and I'm grateful to all of you. This is the best, tuition free, learning experience ever.

I think of my photostream as a work book..I delete what I tire of looking at; if I learn something technically that will make a photograph better, I do it. I'm working toward some kind of personal vision, but I'm not sure where I'm heading .. yet.

If I like your work, it's usually because the composition caught my eye .. sometimes there is humor involved. :)
