Drag to set position!
Place of birth Broken Hill NSW Australia. Always interested in photography, using initially my Kodak Instamatic and my sister's box Brownie. I developed my first B&W film at age 11. Currently live in Perth WA. Main influences especially during my studies at ECU in Perth have been Helmut Newton, Richard Avedon and Ansel Adams, in the last case of Adams understanding and using the full tonal range in black and white photography. Finally I always recall Thorsten Overgaard's advice "always wear a camera".
I like to collect older cameras but also have quite a range of digital gear as well. First become interested in photography about 40 years ago and always processed my own black and white film. Main cameras I have or used are:
Leica: M2, M3, M4, M6, M9, M Monocrom IIIc, IIIf
Hasselblad: 500 CM
Nikon: F2, FM2, D7000, Nikkormat FT3
Rolleiflex: Automat
