Retired in1999 and now enjoy walking the countryside. I married for the second time in 2007 and on days when I was not out and about I was sending my wife mad. On her suggestion to get a hobby I got a camera four months ago and began to shoot any thing that moves. To date this is mainly Birds. I am hoping to get to grips with the camera settings but must admit to taking most shots on Auto.

I met a friendly man called Hans whilst in Clumber Park and he told me all about flickr. I came home and began looking at other peoples photos and this has inspired me to begin looking more at the scenes I visit and hopefully will produce a wider range of Photographs.
