Primarily a writer and editor. Last year when I was going on about how we couldn't find male models without attitude issues to pose for an anthology cover, a friend's daughter said, "Borrow my Kens. They always do as they're told." I did. They did. And the result was the cover for gay-ebooks' popular Oz short story collection "When You're A Boy" in late 2011. And it was a lot of fun. Since then my dollpix have appeared in print and in exhibitions. A solo exhibition "Ken Always Does As He's Told" was held at the TAP Gallery in Sydney in February, 2012.

The pics are pretty much SOOC - no photoshop, just a bit of color balance etc. I love the challenge of trying to create something with emotional intensity from a plastic subject (like a fashion photographer so often has to do).
