Hi, my name is Lesley, I'm 50 and I have been passionate about photography for about five years now. To me, seeing the world through the camera is like being given a sixth sense. I notice so much more - and it's not just limited to what I can see. It could be a smell that alerts me to a particular plant, or a sound introducing me to an animal. I thank my camera for waking me up!

1. First and foremost I am the mother of three fantastic boys - they are a complete joy to me!

 

2. I have been with my husband for 28 years - we met on Halloween!

 

3. I'm a member of Aberdare Camera Club

 

4. I am a part-time laboratory technician in a comprehensive school.

 

5. I am a part-time Swedish Masseuse.

 

6. My cup is always half full !!

 

7. I have learned Welsh but understand it better than I speak it.

 

8. I studied Environmental Science at U.C.W Aberystwyth.

 

9. I can lay a hedge, fell a tree and dry-stone wall.

 

10. My fave colour is purple.

 

11. I have uprooted Hymalayan Balsam for the Woodland Trust.

 

12. I love to sing and I can play the flute (badly).

 

13. I love Wales and I love walking in Wales.

 

14. My all time fave quote comes from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar and begins with "There is a tide..."

 

15. I have two cats and would love a dog.

 

16. Amateur but extremely keen photographer. I started digital photography with a point and shoot Panasonic but now have a Canon EOS 550D. If you haven't guessed already, I am addicted to Flickr!!!
