I have always been a fan of railways, diesel engines, V engines, turbochargers, superchargers, Military vehicles, traction engines, big trucks, heavy plant machinery, stuff that makes the hairs stand up on the back of your neck....

To counterbalance that mechanical fury, I also enjoy nature, scenery, the countryside and flora and fauna.

A miserable wet day is my idea of heaven, particularly in Autumn, with reddish light, sweet smelling damp air and shadows.
