I am an agronomist, environmental advisor and orchid aficionado and grower at a small scale at home for 27 years, I have been member of 5 orchid societies in Belgium when I was still living in my country.

I have also been a voluntary collaborator with the National botanical garden of Belgium, helping them to identify unnamed or wrongly named species in their private collection.

I am also an orchid and nature photographer for about 25 years, particularly in situ in Belgium, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Venezuela Ecuador and Colombia. I gave many lectures over orchids in the wild and in cultivation for orchid societies in Belgium, in Venezuela, in Colombia and in USA and continue doing it virtual for the moment. I am a conservationist trying to find ways to protect orchids in and ex situ.

I exclusively grow botanical orchids and I mainly specialize in growing genera such as Maxillaria, Restrepia, Mormodes, Cycnoches, Stanhopea, Gongora and other Stanhopeinae, also Cattleya, Odontoglossum and Rhynchostele (former Mexican Odontoglossum), Phragmipedium, Laelia (from Mexico), Sophronitis, Pescatoria, Huntleya, Masdevallia, among others...
